OUR ROASTERY

Roasted weekly in Bristol, built for better cups

At Kettle & Kin, our roastery is where single-origin coffee is selected, profiled and roasted in small batches for the cafe, for home brewers and for subscription boxes. We keep the process close, the batches modest and the flavour clear, so each coffee arrives with the sweetness, balance and character the origin deserves.

1
Select lots

We source coffees with a clear purpose: espresso, filter or both. Each lot is chosen for structure, sweetness and how it will drink in the cup.

2
Profile roast

We cup, test and adjust roast curves until the coffee tastes balanced, expressive and consistent from batch to batch.

3
Pack and serve

Once rested, the coffee heads to the espresso bar, the shelf and the subscription line-up — roasted to keep the flavour moving, not sitting still.

ROASTING APPROACH

Small batches, clearer flavour

We roast weekly so the coffee you drink at the bar or brew at home is close to the roast date. That means brighter aromatics, better crema and a cup that shows the origin rather than hiding it.

  • Roasted on site

From green coffee to finished batch in Bristol

  • Balanced profiles

Designed for espresso and filter clarity

  • Fresh supply

Cafe, retail bags and subscriptions stay aligned

WHY IT MATTERS

Coffee that works in the cafe and at home

Our roastery exists to keep the cafe honest and the subscription useful. If a coffee tastes excellent at the bar, it should also brew beautifully in a V60, moka pot or espresso machine at home.

That is why we keep the range focused, the roast approach consistent and the descriptions plain: so you know what you are buying and how it will drink.
